Real World Performance
MotorTrend reviewers noted the number of choices that Houston area shoppers have when it comes to choosing the right Blazer EV. With three different battery options, front- or all-wheel drive, and a soon-to-come performance trim level, there's almost certainly a Blazer that fits into your budget and lifestyle. But where things get really interesting is independent range testing, which allowed the testers to coax a six-second 0-60 time out of the crossover.
When it comes to handling, there was more good news. In their verdict on the Chevy Blazer EV, Cars.com praised the SUV's sharp handling. The same reviewer says that the vehicle is well-damped, offering a comfortable ride for the segment, and praises the vehicle's sure-footedness.
Range is important, too, which is why MotorTrend conducted a real-world test involving traffic and usage of climate controls. The result was 239 miles, 23 more than the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and two miles above the publication's average. Perhaps the biggest honor is that the Chevy Blazer EV took home the vaunted 2024 SUV of the Year award.
