GMC designed the Acadia with three engine configurations across its trims and a choice of either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The engine types include the base engine, a 2.5-liter with a power output of 193 horsepower. It is mostly desired for its fuel efficiency but has less power than other engine types in the GMC Acadia model.
The standard 2.0-liter turbo-four has a power output of 230 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This engine is mostly in the base trim, has relatively quiet acceleration and is coupled with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The 3.6-liter V6 engine option has a power output of 310 horsepower and a torque of 271 pound-feet of torque. It is a strong and quiet engine with more thrust and a friendly noise upon acceleration. Interior and Comfort
The Acadia model is compact, and its interior is pleasing to the eye. With a third row, the vehicle seats up to seven passengers. The second row has a bench accommodating three adults, while others have two captain chairs for comfort. The base model seats have cloth upholstery and the seats are manually adjustable, while higher trims have power-adjustable seats and leather upholstery.
